We provide an online form for requesting a copy of the Local Information System.

You can open the following directly from this site:

The installation guide for the desktop programs
The installation guide for the intranet version
The technical overview
Implementation Notes
Files provided with the implementation Notes

To save a copy of any of the above downloads, right click the link and select 'Save as...'.

The documents all use Adobe PDF format. If you don't have the Adobe reader installed, you can download it for free from here.

The following are free software downloads from Microsoft. You might need this software to install the Local Information System:

Microsoft .NET framework version 1.1. Currently available at: www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26
Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010. Currently available at: www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255

We strongly suggest you use MADE for data access. However, in case there's a good reason to use MDAC instead (it's the data access software we supplied with early versions of the system), you can download a copy of MDAC 2.7. Note the only version of MDAC available from the Microsoft web site is 2.8 which removes the ability to use Access databases. It will not work with the Local Information System.
