The Local Information System utilities

As well as the enquiry and maintenance programs, we supply programs to:

• Add change and delete ids and passwords for:
  • Users of the maintenance program
  • Users of the intranet version (if pasword protected)
• Tailor the system to your needs, implement program changes, and distribute changes around your network
• Capture Local Information System data from:
  • Other databases
  • Excel spreadsheets
  • Formatted word documents
• Synchronise changes made in a local copy of the database with a copy held remotely - particularly useful for updating intranet versions of the Local Information System hosted on the internet.
• Ensure the enquiry program makes the best use of Internet Explorer
