Changes made in version 2.6 of the CAB Local Information system

Version 2.6 incorporates the following changes.

Ability to change default result sequence in the reader program

Previously, search results were shown latest first within popularity. You can now opt to see results in either that order or alphabetically by item title within popularity.

When you close the program, it 'remembers' the selection you made and restores it again when you restart it. If people log on to Windows with unique ids, the setting is remembered individually for each id.

Ability to change default result sequence in the maintenance program

This is the same change in the maintenance program:

• It affects the order of results when you click either the 'Search' or 'A-Z' buttons. The other search buttons are unaffected.
• You select a different result sequence by clicking a new set of radio buttons in the left hand panel of the display.
